For anyone in Halifax Friday night...

Just sent this out to 55 peeps in and around town.
This is a big shout out to all of our friends and music fans that our quartet Atlantic Standard Time is rockin' it at the SOHO Kitchen this Friday, April 8th, at 7:30 PM. For those who haven't heard us or who haven't heard us for awhile, we've been working up a great new repertoire since Christmas that's gonna knock you out!

We've still got great standards by cats like Miles Davis and the like, but we've also been working out our pop, funk and hip-hop chops with tunes by Feist, Common, Rufus Wainwright, Radiohead, and more. Jazz ain't no dying art anymore with Atlantic Standard Time -- we've got a totally new feel going on that you'll be sure to dig. You definitely won't be disappointed by this fresh new mix of live tunes with great grooves.

Remember that the SOHO's new crib is on Argyle Street (next to the Seahorse), and there's no cover charge for the show. You can check out our poster for the gig at the link below. I hope to see you out there on Friday night!

Thanks for asking. I don't have any music online yet, but I'll probably have a couple tracks on there by the end of the week. I'll post a link in here when they're ready.

Having said that, these tracks won't come from this new repertoire, unfortunately. They'll come from a CD we made almost two years ago now. We have plans to record some new stuff in the summer, though.
